Robert Trent is the founder and Executive Director of Sierra Commons, where he helps entrepreneurs plan, launch, and grow successful businesses. He also serves as a business advisor with the Sierra Small Business Development Center and co-leads the Forest Entrepreneurship Training Program in partnership with the Sierra Business Council.

This innovative, tuition-free initiative supports economic development and wildfire mitigation across Northern California. Robert’s work is rooted in a deep commitment to building sustainable local economies and has played a key role in revitalizing Nevada County’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, empowering small business owners and fostering resilience in rural communities.
