For Talent
In October, we celebrated some significant milestones. The FireUp job board now hosts 255 fire and forestry employersacross ten industry types, we’ve surpassed 10,000 page visits, and enabled at least 350 applications from the FireUp Job Board!
Overall, hiring trends across employer types show significant variation. State and Federal Agencies continue to drive large-scale hiring. Open jobs for Federal Agencies nearly doubled since the last month, soaring from 176 active jobs last month to 324 as of October 27th.
Private companies including utilities, remain the most active on the job board, with 39 companies posting an average of 20 openings each.
Non-Profits and Universities maintain steady, smaller-scale efforts, with non-profits averaging around 8 active roles and universities posting a median of 13 active jobs.
Smaller but vital recruitment efforts come from FireTech Startups, Tribal Organizations, and Local Agencies, each averaging 2 to 4 active postings.
Federal agencies, Non-Profits, and State Agencies have attracted the most job applicants in the last month.
Operations roles continue to dominate in interest, generating three times the clicks compared to the next highest category, Sales & Business Development.
